One Raceway, turn by turn
One Raceway corner names and turns: Pacemaker, The Verandah, The Fish-Hook and Slingshot, with all 13 turns of the Wakefield and Shelley layouts in order.
One Raceway has two layouts on the same 2,350 m road: Wakefield, raced clockwise, and Shelley, raced anticlockwise, each with 13 numbered turns. Each turn below has its direction, its shape from Purple Sector’s mapped geometry, and how far it sits from the turns either side. The turn numbers are the circuit’s own, from its numbered map.
The circuit was Wakefield Park until 2022, a 2.2 km layout with 10 turns, and was rebuilt with banked corners at both ends. The operator’s map labels each corner with both numbers, so Wakefield’s Turn 1 is Shelley’s Turn 13.
Corner names
Motorsport Australia’s 2026 venue profile names four parts of the rebuilt circuit, using the old Wakefield Park turn numbers. Pacemaker is the old Turn 1 and 2 complex, now three separate corners: Wakefield’s Turns 1 to 3, which are Shelley’s Turns 13 to 11. Slingshot is the heavily banked corner that, with two kinks, replaced the old Turn 10: Wakefield’s Turn 12, which is Shelley’s Turn 2, the biggest bend on the lap at about 216°. The profile also calls the top of the hill, the old Turns 4, 5 and 6, The Verandah, and the old Turn 9 The Fish-Hook, one of the main places to pass. It gives no new numbers for those two, so they are not placed on the tables below. (Motorsport Australia, 2 Jul 2026)
